Where each police system publishes its own joining information — the official recruitment page, who actually employs the officers, and what that page does and does not establish.
The single most useful thing this page can tell you is that the place that trains officers is often not the body that employs them, and the body that publishes the requirements is often not either. In England and Wales a national service publishes the eligibility criteria while 43 separate forces do the recruiting. In Norway a university college admits students to a degree; being admitted is not being employed. In Northern Ireland the body that oversees the police is not the body that recruits for it. Each entry below says which of those it is.

Czechia

England and Wales

Polizei Berlin — Ausbildung (mittlerer Dienst)

One of Berlin’s two entry tracks: a Vorbereitungsdienst of two and a half years, entered on the erweiterte Berufsbildungsreife or on the Berufsbildungsreife plus completed vocational training and two years of work, leading to appointment as Polizeimeisterin or Polizeimeister.
Who employs: The Land of Berlin, as the employer of its own police force.
- Berlin only. Each of the other fifteen Länder recruits separately, as does the Bundespolizei, and nothing here establishes what any of them requires.

What the basic Dutch police training is: a two-year programme at niveau 4, taught at a Politieacademie location with practical lessons in the region the student is posted to.
Who employs: NOT AN EMPLOYER. The Politieacademie teaches; the Nationale Politie employs. An applicant goes to the police, not to the academy.
- It describes the training and does NOT establish the prior qualification required to enter any route. The admission requirements are published by the police, above.
New Zealand

The eligibility conditions New Zealand Police publishes: citizenship or residency, the age rule including the explicit statement that there is no upper age limit, the driving-licence rule, English, fitness, eyesight and disclosure requirements.
Who employs: New Zealand Police, a single national force.
- It states that fitness, eyesight, conviction-disclosure and medical-history requirements exist. It is not the standard itself, and no fitness or medical criterion is taken from it.
Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland Policing Board — PSNI recruitment

That the Policing Board directs anyone interested in a career with the Police Service of Northern Ireland to a dedicated recruitment site, and that it holds a statutory duty to assess how far the membership of the police is representative of the community.

- No eligibility requirement is established for Northern Ireland. psni.police.uk refuses automated requests and the dedicated site could not be content-confirmed for requirements.
Norway

Admission to the Norwegian police bachelor degree — Norwegian citizenship, generell studiekompetanse, at least a grade 3 in written Norwegian hovedmål, a class B licence, a clean record documented by politiattest, and a medical certificate, each attached to its own deadline in the annual cycle.
Who employs: NOT AN EMPLOYER. This admits students to a degree. The Norwegian police employs officers separately, and this platform has not researched that process.
- A TRAINING INSTITUTION IS NOT A RECRUITING AUTHORITY. Being admitted to Politihøgskolen is not being employed by the police.
- The page addresses one named admission cycle. Its deadlines recur annually, but the cycle it speaks to is a particular one, so the dates are not restated here.
- The page states NO age requirement, and none is claimed from it.
Scotland
Police Scotland — police officer recruitment

That Police Scotland runs its own police-officer recruitment, separate from any England-and-Wales process, and that applicants must have lived in the UK for at least three years.
Who employs: Police Scotland, the single service for the whole of Scotland.
- The qualification, age, nationality and fitness requirements are NOT established. They sit on further pages that could not be content-confirmed.
What this cannot tell you
- Whether any force is recruiting right now. Only the official page can say that, and it can change the day after this one was checked.
- Whether you would pass. Medical, psychological, fitness and vetting decisions are made by the recruiting authority on evidence this platform does not hold, and no guidance on how to approach any of those assessments is published here.
- What the process is like from the inside. This platform does not publish application coaching, test practice, interview preparation or anything else that would help a candidate present themselves as other than they are.
- Anything about systems not listed. A system’s absence means nobody has verified its official page against these standards yet, not that it has no recruitment.
