What it is
The force publishes a vision of making Bhutan a safe place to live and work, and a mission of maintaining law and order, preventing crime, and protecting life and property. It also publishes a code of conduct that restricts political campaigning, participation in strikes or demonstrations, and proselytising on duty — a set of restrictions stated by the force about itself rather than inferred from general practice.
